Simply lovely this stoneware teapot by Denby is decorated on both sides with a trail of painted clover in an unexpected color combination of greens, browns and teal blue. The pattern known as "Shamrock" is on an oatmeal color base with a deep brown lid creating a wonderful natural look for those not-so-fussy tea enthusiasts.
Produced by the acclaimed British Pottery manufacturer Denby, Shamrock was introduced in the late 1970s-early 1980s. Those who collect the pattern can find other fabulous table top items to compliment it or for those who just love teapots it is a pristine example of a classic style in a fresh design.
It stands 4 1/2" tall without the lid and according to the backstop holds 1 1/2 pints.
